9th inning bullpen work is killing me lately, three more losses yesterday in the 9th inning or later. Comical to watch the Angels allow the winning run to score when the pitcher threw a wild pitch during an intentional walk  I always wondered why they didn't put an infielder behind the catcher when intentionally walking someone with a runner on 3rd base?

105-83 for +40.56 units

3* Giants -139 (Hudson/Cain)
I predicted last Friday that the Giants would get their house in order once they had a chance to play some home games, today they go for their 6th straight win at home since Friday. Giants are 26-9 in Cain home starts, and Cain has allowed 0,0,3,1 run in his starts against Arizona in the last year. Giants are also 21-6 in this series. Home team is 21-6 in Thursday games with Miller behind the plate.

2* Indians -111 (Shields/Masterson)
Red Sox must be sick watching Masterson dominate start after start while they throw guys like Lackey out on the mound:mj07: Masterson has really matured into a solid pitcher as he's 5-0 2.30 in 7 starts this season. Indians are 14-1 last 15 home games and going back to last season they're 22-5 at home.

2* Under 7.5 -115 Dodgers/Pirates
Dodgers are 8-2 under last 10 games and the Pirates are 8-2 under at home recently. Both pitchers in in good current form also. With Mike Dimuro behind the plate Dodgers are 8-1 under while the Pirates are 17-3-1 under with him.

2* Under 9.5 -115 Royals/Yankees
Nova is 5-1 under in his starts this year and he's in great current form. O'Sullivan is having a nice year and is 2-1 2.52 in his last 4 starts. Under is 18-6-3 in this series recently, and Yankees are 11-3-3 under in their last 17 games overall.

Best of Luck to everyone today:toast:

good idea about backing up the catcher -

except all fielders must be in fair territory when the pitch is delivered

I feel your pain, slick......I was on the Angels also. Tough sledding right now, keep plugging and bring that "Units Won" back to that +70 mark.

Today, I'm going to "sweat" that Cle. game with you. Shields is no slouch at .211 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, but Indians have only lost 3 gms. at home this year.....

Good Luck on your action...
