Thursday MLB Bases..

Appreciate the warm sentiments from many of you last night. Onto Thursday's MLB action. A couple early.

St. Louis/Houston Under 8 ** (2 Units)
I see J.A Happ coming in with confidence and now getting a further boost with Holiday and Berkman out. Plus Rasmus coming bck at less than 100% should also help matters for the southpaw. In addition, the Astros are hard to back here where they have lost 4 in a row and 5 of their past on the road. Should be a lower scoring game.

Pittsburgh/Cincinnati Under 8 ** (2 Units)
This is an interesting game. Cueto comes into this game looking like a legit front of the rotation starter. The Pirates have played the Reds tough this year winning four of five. McDonald had a hiccup his last start, but should be able to get back to the form where we saw him give up 2ER in his last 18 Innings prior to that. The Reds will get their runs, but Cueto should be masterful still and I see McDonald at least containing the Big Red Machine.

These were the two that jumped out. I might be playing one in the afternoon and then have others in the evening. Hope everyone has a great day!

Sorry for the late post here, but I will bite on the Astros as well for a small play. As you know I like the under as well, but I'll add this too. Again only small one unit.

Houston +145 * (1 Unit)
This way too good of value to not take a small stab. If J.A has his control today and can keep his walk count down to 3 or less, I think the Astros get one here.

Well I'm 1-1 for (+1 Unit) for now with a push in a game that should have hit. A couple sloppy plays in the later innings by the Pirates and then the solo shot by Bruce that somehow kept carrying created a collapse. At least it was a push. Overall its been fine today.
