Tough loss on the Dodgers in the early game....no worries as there are two plays to go in which I'm expecting a 2-0 showing!!! Doing a small parlay on COL and TOR as well......GL tonight!!

Only one of Boston's runs have been unearned. Halladay has been smoked his last two starts. I have Boston, I don't know how so many people could lay -150+ with a team that has lost 8 straight games against the team with the best record in baseball.

I understand how streaks are more important in bases. I guess the easy play is to take the free money with the big dog against the pitcher that hasn't gotten a win in this matchup in two games this year. Toronto had the bags loaded in the 1st. The knuckler got out of the situation and Toronto got shut out for the 1st time this season. A hit or two and this game may have went differently. Wakefield was a -$205 fav earlier in the year against Toronto and he gave up 8 hits and lost. Vegas doesn't have Halladay as a -$150+ chalk for no reason. It's a pretty big line swing against the "hottest" team in baseball (7 of 8 now) playing the Jays and their 8 game losing streak. Wakefield pitch is on or it's off. I still think if they got to his pitch early it would have been a totally different game. Boston isn't the strongest team defensively and they leave a ton of runners on base. Everything came together tonight for them starting with Wake.

Well....FYI the Brewers technically have the best record in baseball. Good point about the Jays, but don't make it sound like this was such an easy pick on the RSox. If anyone was going to stop the Jays' losing it would have been their ace. There were many solid cappers on the Jays today, so I don't think we are all jack ass's. Nice call on the Sox today, but they were very lucky the Jays were in a bad slump or this could of easily been the other way around. You just made it sound like anyone on the Jays today were idiots, but if you look at Halladay's career home record I'm sure it didn't seem like that bad of a play.

Now hold on. I wasn't calling anyone a name I just said I didn't understand how anyone could be on a team that had lost 8 straight against a team that has the second best record in baseball. Boston was lucky today because the Blue Jays are in a slump? Um, wasn't that my point to begin with...don't bet on a team just because they are "due" to win? I learned the hard way that betting on a team because they are due to win or that "surely" they will win this one is not the way to go. Don't fight streaks, ride them. There is a reason they are on an 8 game losing streak - they aren't playing good baseball! All I'm saying is, if I have one team that has the best record in the AL and is red-hot and has a guy pitching for them that is hot and has an ERA in the 2's then I'm dang sure not going to lay -150 something with a guy that honestly hasn't been that great this year in Halladay.
