NHL Season: 11-15-3 (-3.55 units)

Close but no cigar with Atlanta last night. For tonight, here's what I have:

1) Los Angeles -0.5 (+125)

Calgary expected to start Vernon tonight. Turek has been too big of a part of Calgary's success and I think they will struggle when he is not in net. LA is a little banged up, but still should have more than enough to pull out the win tonight.

2) Minnesota/Boston over 5 goals (+115) *2 unit play

Great odds on a low total here. Boston going with backup goalie Grahame. Bruin coach Ftorek stressing offense in the media and in practice, urging his defensemen to take advantage of opportunities. Minnesota has been much higher scoring this season than in the past. I'm making this a two unit play as I believe there is significant value in this one.

Input always appreciated. GL and be smart out there!

Would have been sweeter if it was boston up 4-1. 4 Goals on 6 shots for min.

Thanks guys. Still only 1-1 though. La played a poor game, Turek was in when I had expected Vernon to be in net. Oh well, better luck next time.
