That's right, I said shootout. No Marshall's playing on Friday not Thursday. I've seen lots of people on the under. I don't see that happening. Auburn has a decent defense, but who have they played in the last 2 games. MSU's offense is improved, especially with Fant under center. MSU's defense isn't anything like it used to be. They are hard pressed to stop the run or the pass. Auburn really should have a field day against this defense.

I see this total going well over 50. This isn't the same MSU team of the past, which was a stellar defense and a good running game. Look for Carnell to have 150+ yds and Cobb to pass for 2 TD's. This now in turns puts MSU in a tough spot. Do they try and set up the run, of which they don't have one. Or do they rely on Fant's arm. I believe the latter will happen. MSU does still rely on special teams and they might even steal a TD on a blocked kick, but MSU realizes that they won't be able to run the ball against Auburn. So they will pass, pass, pass. MSU will start to look like Oakland against Pitt.

Auburn -2 BIG

Total pass completions made by Kevin Fant
Over 15? pass completions -180 BIGGER
Under 15? pass completions +135

Auburn over 42' BIGGEST
