Basically I think this is just too many points; I'm not saying The Pride will upset GT but just like Nevada last night I think they'll get the win ATS.

In the game vs. Marist Senior F Danny Walker proved he's recovered from last years injury; and as a team Hofstra rebounded and shot well against a Red Fox squad that is probably better than advertised. Hofstra shot 52% from the field; their only real weakness was just 47% from the line.

Traditionally Hofstra hasn't played well on the road but Box thinks they'll do better away this year, and I've got to go with him.

GT coming off a big win over ULL which just didn't show up.

I think these are two pretty evenly matched teams and top teams like UConn can't even cover a number this big this early in the season.

Lean to Villanova +12

'Nova's suspensions date back to last year. Obviously the team has been practicing knowing that these players won't be in the line-up. Again I think this is too many points for Temple to cover.

Superbook, I'm leaning towards Hofstra and the points also. Ga.Tech looked very impressive tuesday night but I think a lot of that should be attributed to the poor performance of UL-Laf. With all their suspensions and lack of experienced players they did not look like they were totally focused. Hofstra will be all right on the battle of the boards and hopefully their free throw shooting won't hurt us. I was flipping channels back and forht on the 2 games tuesday night and was impressed with both Hofstra and Marist. I think there is money to be made on both of those 2 teams this year. Good Luck

I've got line at 17, and my question is: who is Georgia Tech to be laying 17 to ANYONE? I gotta think Hoffstra can keep it in the high single/low double digits and fouls at the end might push it to 14-15 but 17 should be good.

Boilermaker -- if it's any consolation GT only shot 40% from the line vs ULL

Not sure. It's at 130.5 at Oly now...probably a few guys buying the Over to complete their middle.

Wildcats won a 70-62 game last New Years Eve when both teams were at full strength...the suspensions and injuries (both teams have guys out) along with the fact that this is the first game makes me think that scoring will be low..like a 60-50 game.

nice night last night, i really thought the gophers should have played better than that. there's no doubt if they would have shot how I believe the are capable of shooting, they win the game outright. when they pulled within 4 with 7 minutes left i did get my hopes up. you were right about their freshman, he is going to be great. good luck tonight, and thanks for the picks over the last couple days.
