Sides: 25-13 (+40.7 units)
Totals: 6-5 (+5.3 units)
Parlays: 2-2 (+12.6 units)

Bills/Jaguars Over 38.5

Lean to the Jags as well, if line drops to 8, might take them. Bills have lost 3 games by double-digits and if not for a couple garbage time scores against the Jets, it would be all 4 games. Three of their games were at home, and the other at Indy on turf. Now playing on grass on the road. Both teams decimated by injuries, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Jags D will pressure Johnson all night, which will result in either Johnson turning the ball over or big plays for Buffalo's offense. Brackens is supposed to start tonight, that can only help the Jags defensive pressure. Brunell has had an extra few days to recover from his concussion, and his sloppy performance at Seattle was attributed to him still having his bell rung. Bills have no pass-rush, 5 sacks in four games, and have no answers for Jags passing attack. Even without Boselli, Brunell should have plenty of time to pick apart Bills D. Without Taylor, Coughlin has lost confidence in Mack after fumble problems in Seattle, and have no serviceable backup to take his place. That should lead to even more passing by Jax.

I'm going to be a devil's advocate, not slamming your pick. Bills will use a West Coast offense that has quick short & screen passes and run the ball to counter Jags pass rush and reduce turnovers. If Bills are successful in gaining 4-5 yards on 1st down, they will probably be able to control the clock and shorten the game. This will also prevent the Jags offense from scoring many points. The big question is how the Bills defense be able to slow down the Jags offense. Bills had two weeks to make adjustment on their defense. Without a Jags' running threat, Bills D has a greater chance at slowing down a one-dimensional Jags' offense. I predict Bills will force Jags to beat them by running the ball. Jags will probably win this home game, but not by a blow out. Bills can't win a shootout game on the road so I expect the Bills coaching staffs will find a way to control the clock. Always, good luck on your plays.
