Hoops,
Any reasons you know of thatthe Georgia line has been dropping steadily. Started at 7 , now at 5.5 where I play at. Have I missed something, I have seen this team play 3-4 times this year. They seem to be well prepared and ready to play a full 48 each time. What's with the line movement, they have played well away from home this year and this is a nuetral site. Thoughts? Thanks.

Riviman,

I know that your question was directed to Hoops, but thought I might be of some help. Arkansas State has put up some amazing stats on the offensive side but against opponents with weaker defenses to Georgia. They have a lot of size underneath the basket including a seven foot center while the tallest player for Georgia is four inches less!

I was siding with Georgia in this one because I felt their defense would put an end to Arkansas State's hot shooting, but I'm beginning to wonder if they have the size in the frontcourt to get the job done or if the size difference will lead to easy baskets for the underdog.

Hoops,
What's you take on the outcome of last night's La.T improbable loss (18 pts.). I had Butler and La.T. as my two top plays.
The line movement from overnight to following
morning (2.5 Pts.) made me a little hesitant, but I welcomed the added cushion and played. What was it "they" knew and we didn't or couldn't find out? How did "they" know? I've been at this for about 30 years
and do recognize when you had better tread lightly. I just can't stay off when I can't
something wrong other than the line movement.
I don't think that the above mentioned line movement was money driven. It occurred too early in the day for it to be money.

Riviman- Georgia is one of the surprise teams to start the year..should make some noise in the SEC..Ark St is a decent mid-major team...on a neutral court the spread looks about right..not too surprised it moved down a point or so.

Dog Lover- Money will move it early, late whenever...no major injuries announced or anything of that sort, so move on UAB was definitely from a few groups that liked them. Unfortunately I had the wrong side and didn't feel too good when I saw the line move to 7.5. Bad showing by Tech, didn't get to see the game so I can't really assess what happened. Certainly didn't expect them to get smoked like that though...they had hung tough against much better teams.

Hailmary- Thanks, good luck tonight!

Parlayinn- For the BestBettor thing, I basically take a quick glance at that before I really dig into the games and put my plays in mostly as 'hunches' or 'gut' plays..whatever you want to call it before I do most of my work on the games. Once I did more work I decided Miss St was one of the better plays on the board today.

Dammit ... I am already frustrated as I didn't know there were early game today and all of them are 5 unit plays that already started. Why all the early starts on a weekday? Nice hit on #1 Hoops and GOOD LUCK on the rest!
