Superbook's "Play of the Day"

Overall record: 5-2
Big Dogs: 5-0
Other: 0-2

Only eight big dogs to chose from today, I narrowed the list to Virginia Tech, Cal Irvine and Cal Poly SLO.

I like both the two dogs in Big West conference games but my selection for my POD is:

Cal Poly SLO +10

The line opened at +9.5 and I got it at +9 and bought a point to make them a double digit dog.

IMO Cal Poly SLO and Pacific are equals, this game is a toss-up. More analysis on the game to follow this afternoon, I've got to go to a meeting now.:(

Super,
We finally have come to not see eye to eye. IMO Cal Poly I think will lose by double digits but like you said it really is a toss up but I'm staying away. The line seems about on point. If it drops to 8 Pacific would be a good play:shrug:

Maybe I'm missing something but on paper these teams look about equal.

Cal Poly has a slight edge in rebounding, Pacific might be a little better defensively but they have problems on the other end of the floor. Demetrius Jackson at 14.1 ppg is the only Tiger scoring in double figures through the first 13 games.

The Mustangs have a couple of nice wins on the road, at Vanderbilt and at Eastern Washington, IMO Cal Poly should be able to keep it within ten here.
