La. Tech -105
LT is the kind of team that has given Fresno St. problems all year. FSU lost to Hawaii and Boise St. at home giving up 462 and 476 passing yards and gave up 363 passing yards to Nevada in a 38-30 win at home. Most of their wins have come against very weak teams that have virtually no offense including Rice, SMU, Tulsa, and San Jose St. La. Tech runs an offense similar to Hawaii, Boise, and Nevada that spreads the field and throws to many different receivers. Tech can also run the ball with Smith who is avg. 5.9 ypr with 16 TDs. LT has been good at home going 4-0 this season. If they can slow FSU's running game they should hold their offense down. LT's run defense has been decent allowing 4 ypr on the season and 3.6 ypr at home. If they can force Fresno into passing situations they can blitz Pinegar. He is a freshman and has struggled throwing on the run and takes a lot of sacks. I am a little concerned about special teams as Fresno has been known to block kicks and Asparuhov is an excellent FG kicker so this will be a small play. A win here will make LT's season as they have no hopes of a bowl, it is senior day, and they can go out with a win on national TV.
