Minn. at Tor.

Roy Halladay seems to be due for a breakout year for the Jays. Last year, he had 13 quality performances in 16 starts and finished the season with an ERA of 3.16. In his only two starts against the twins, Halladay is a perfect 2-0 with an ERA of 1.29. If Toronto's bats can hold up, I look for him to be 3-0.

Play Toronto -115

Detroit at Tampa Bay

This pick isn't very scientific for me. The bottom line is Tampa Bay is horrible and I don't see them starting the year 3-0 or sweeping a better team. Neither pitcher is that good which tempts me to take over 9.5 runs but I'll probably pass on that one and stick to the side. I'm kind of surprised the ML isn't more like Detroit -160.

Play Detroit -120

Afternoon Parlay:

NY Mets -220/StL -145

This is my first post of the Baseball season. So far, I'm 5-1 but will not count that on my record since I havn't posted yet.

I'll be back later with some more picks.

Adding............

Texas +135

I don't want to edit posts containing plays but I got The Bluejays at -110 and Tigers -115.

Also, just for record keeping, I have two units on each of these games including the parlay.

Well, After it looked like it was going to be a terrible start to the day, I managed to end up slightly ahead. I've got three seperate wagers for tonights Braves/Phillies mathup. This will make or break my day.

2 units

Braves -1.5 +125
Over 8.5 +105

3 Units

Braves -150

I could be banking too much on the Braves. I'm not expecting a great performance by Marquis but do think the Atlanta bats come alive tonight. Needless to say, I'll be doing the tomahawk chop like crazy for the next few hours!
