hey yak-

what about your army pick? I like Stony brook here. I show them by about 4 and was thinking of taking them on the money line. the young guard orsini (sp?) is starting to play better and they're bound to start shooting better as a team (since they cant shoot any worse).

Just my take on it. Not many people going after this game one way or another, so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

Like that Sam Houston play. Line is 5 at Olympic. Saw Monroe play at Ole Miss. They take a lot of outside jumpers. They've got a tall center that can block shots but doesn't have much of a game at the offensive end. Sam Houston played Ole Miss pretty tough last year and had a pretty good team. If they got their key players back this should be a nice play.

I'll be honest with you I haven't seen either team play, and I have no idea who plays for each team. I download all boxscores into a database and crunch numbers and adjust for strength of schedule. I have army winning by 7 to 9 points on a neutral court with a good advantage on the offensive glass. The computer has been wrong many times, so good luck if you take Stony Brook.

Like Sam Houston up to -9 so -5 is great. Played real good competition tight on the road and should win the offensive glass also. Time will tell.
