While the party line is that this is a 'must win' game for the Eagles, I guess i'll be one of the idiots that goes against this 'trend', or whatever.

Must win situations happen almost every week multiple times at this point in the year, and IMO it is a very weak reason to play on the team that just 'has to win'. Overall results over the last 4 or 5 years would bear this out.

For one thing, this 'angle' is already reflected in the line. For another, just because a team 'has to win', doesn't mean that they are capable of turning it on and off at will like this 'angle' suggests. And it also doesn't mean that their opponents have quit and that since they don't 'have to win', they will roll over and play dead.

IMO, Philly has not shown in the least why they deserve to be 3 point favs at one of the most difficult places to play in the league.

Recent history (this year) shows that the Chiefs have struggled at home, but I think the sentiment against them at home (in the form of the line) has somewhat over-reacted.

I think this line should be a pick, so i'll take a flyer on the Chiefs.

Not big on teasers, but of course good luck on that one. Initially, I liked the under a little bit, but after looking at it a little closer I decided to stay away. I think that 37 is a little tight in this game, at least as far as having much value, but obviously 43 gives you a little more room to operate.

Certainly wasn't the way that I thought/hoped it would go, but such is gambling....

I would make the same plays if these teams played next week...not saying that in this particular game KC was anywhere near the right side, though. They weren't. Not by a longshot.

Oh well, congrats to the Eagles bettors.
