This year 76-40-1 +117 units

1-5 units

1 unit 12-6
2 unit 21-15
3 unit 13-8
4 unit 17-4
5 unit 13-7-1

Yesterday:

cent Mich +5.5 5 units (W)
Young St +6.5 5 units (W)
Ark St +4.5 4 units (L)
W VA -14 3 units (W)
Depaul -13 2 units (W)

Bad day on Tuesday night as I went 4-5 for a negative 6 units but made a good comeback last night going 4-1 for a positive 11 units. Tuesday night was only my 3rd losing day as far as units are concerned this year in college hoops (I am knocking on wood as I speak). Luckily we are still positive units for the week (I was that I was going to turn in the first negative week this year after Tuesday's performance). I have looked over tonights games briefly and nothing sticks out as a strong play, but I will cap them all and get back later today with my opinions. There will probably be a couple small plays at the best. Good Luck to you all.

Back before 3pm central,

Only going with two plays tonight.

ECU -9.5 3 units
Prov -4 2 units

George Mason @ ECU

George Mason is in a lot of trouble here. Without their big man 6-10 Jesse Young this team will struggle down low. He is the teams leading rebounder and avg over 11 points per game. Without him they have to lean on two 6-8 FRESHMEN (Jai Lewis and Trent Wurtz) who have averaged only 19 minutes per game each. Lewis is averaging 5.5 pts, 4.3 reb while Wurtz is bringing in a big 3.7 pt avg and 2.3 reb. They do have Jon Larranaga who at 6-7 has been playing well last couple of games, but his averages are not impressive either 8.7 pts, 4.7 reb and over 3 turnovers per game. George Mason does not have an answer for Mikulas or Wiley. Expect ECU to dominate at every aspect tonight to avenge an embarrasing "run up the score" defeat two years ago. (loophole's write up coupled with my knowledge on the two teams convinced me to go from a 1 unit play to a 3 unit as I could still get it at 9.5 with my local). I encourage you to read loopholes posting if you need further information on this one.

Richmond @ Providence

Let down, let down, let down game! Great job against an inconsistant Stanford team BUT now after two grueling match ups with two teams that can take it out of you BACK TO BACK.....Pepperdine (fast paced) and Stanford (physical, atleast their supposed to be anyway) at the opposite end of the country only two days ago.....and you are expected to travel all the way back across the country to play AT Providence (who hasn't played since Dec 7th)! 4 points????? Look for the Spiders to lose their legs in the second half only to get squashed by double digits by Ryan Gomes and team. This kid is mean and as tough as they come in the paint!!!

Good luck,

YAZ:toast:
