The Hawks lost no one of significance, this is virtually the same team that pushed top-seeded Stanford into the final minutes in last years NCAA tournament.
Eastern Washington lost 3 of 5 starters. Guard Jason Lewis is a decent player but 6'9" center Jason Humbert is going to be no match for St. Joe's 7'1" shot-blocking giant Alexandre Sazonov.
Eastern Washington will also be without guard Alvin Snow due to a one game suspension because he took part in a non-sanctioned tourney last spring. His scoring will be missed as Snow started 16 games as a freshman last season, averaging 7.4 points on 56 percent shooting.
