Every PGA and European Tour event (not counting Majors and a couple other events) has slots for "Sponsor Exceptions"......Tiger or anybody else is not taking "spots away" from anyone.
A great golfer, and also one of the biggest asshole "superior athletes" to ever walk the planet. I had the displeasure of actually "hanging out with him" a couple times. A first class asshole.
I personally saw Tiger treat waitresses like shit, and on top of that, not even tip them (as in zero dollars).

On European Tour and PGA Tour, as long as you are male, over the age of 14 and not under any suspensions you are good to go.
So unless Tiger changes his name to Tigress, or gets suspended for drugs or some shit, he's in.
A PGA/European Tour tournament could give Jack or betone a spot in the Field if they really wanted to.
