They are so far behind the game and so oblivious to what is going on that you just start to feel sorry for them after a while.

Hard to watch the game when instead of paying attention to the action, you are sitting there hoping they describe it correctly.

He might be wrong about this call, but I think Raftery does a pretty good job. I really enjoy watching games that he calls.

I'll never forget the "SEND IT IN, JEROME" call he made when Jerome Lane broke the backboard on a dunk about 13 years ago. That's still my favorite.

He also had some classics back in UK's last championship year.

"Walter, take it to the Altar" He also had one that referenced Nazr MOHAMMED and Mark POPE that I can't remember. I'll have to look it up.

The other ones you mentioned I agree, they need to retire.

How about Dick Enberg? This guy is absolutely awful! Missed calls, missed names, bad analogies.

Several times yesterday he stated that it would be Eddie Sutton's last game if they lost. He repeated this statement after the game was over. Huh???

Raftery doesn't bother me that much, but the others are aweful as well. Endberg has got one foot in the grave allready. He is bad at remebering names and calls. He does that for the NFL games alot as well. I like Jay Bilas, he does a preety good job.
