The thing I cant understand is how they dont seem to be ready to play. Two big games against Pitt and Baltimore and they let them go right down the field with stupid, stupid penalties and go down 7-0 early. I can take having the wrong side on a game but I thought Fischer was a better coach than this. He doesnt pass enough on first down to losin up the defense and then he stuck on 3rd and longs after the running game produces negative yardage on the first two downs.
In 1999, Tennessee was arguably the luckiest team in modern history. 5 wins by 3 pts or less (2 by one point) they had a huge edge in turnovers and seemed to come up with every fumble. The crazy ending to the playoff game symbolized how lucky they were. And all that talk about being 1 or 2 yards short in the Super Bowl was garbage; they were a non factor for 3.5 quarters. But justice prevailed, and the far better team (Rams) won. Sooner or later, the breaks figured to not go their way. And its payback time now.
