W Bennett 100/1 @ Ladbrokes 1.5 Units ew

Runner-up last yr at Noordwijkse. Has overcome early season injury and swing problems to find some strong form the past few weeks. Like many was very unlucky to have his Open challenge blown away in rd 3. Other than that he played 3 great rds. Most bookies going 40/1 so the 100s are a gift.

Monarch - here's the posting I put on another site - SPOOKY!
TNT Dutch Open - reverts to the course used a couple of years ago (I won't try and spell it) - Warren Bennett - lost in a playoff to Langer last year and is now coming into a bit if form - 11th Loch Lomond and 3 good rounds at the Open - 40/50 in most places - my arm was twisted by the 100/1 at Ladbrokes

Great minds think alike :D. I was pretty sure you'd be taking him this week anyway at that price. Best of luck to us.

You gonna do this one Monarch :D
bit of a longshot but Maarten Lafeber played well here in 99 to finish 5th - the local boy could spring a surprise - Ladbrokes think so quoting 50/1 but Surrey go 125

Ian,
Have to take a little Lafeber - his 5th here last time is recommendation enough but this year he also has a 2nd place Madeira and decent 11th Volvo PGA & 21st Loch Lomond. 125/1 looks a bit too big... also only 50/1 with Coral but 100/1 bet365 for when Surrey pull the plug

early 0.5 ew on Lomas at 150/1 (Bet365), 11/8 last two outings on this course, 25th in Scottish Open, missed Open, probably not a bad thing

Agree with everyone on Lafeber. I got some of the 125/1 with Surrey.
Adding a couple of straight hitters. O'Malley has played well the last few weeks and I have taken the 28/1 available at Chandler's.
Jacquelin, 80/1 Sportingodds. Seems to enjoy playing in Holland and was 11th here once. Not in great form but had a top 10 in the English Open.

Also like Lonard but 20/1 seems awfully short.

S Leaney 33/1 @ Chandler 1.5 Units ew

Not very original and would have ignored him bar his good form at Loch Lomond and the Open. His record in Holland is 2nd to none and should have a good chance once again this week.

When did you guys get Bennett at 100s? - I checked Ladbrokes yesterday (22nd) and he was and still is only 50s???

Going for Richard Johnson gen avail at 100s - good showing at Loch Lomond for 3 rounds, and due a top 5 finish

Ian Poulter 1EW 66/1 Eurobet
Talented though infuriatingly inconsistent. Has won in each of the last 2 seasons. Ran Justin Rose close when 2nd in the British Masters and a top 20 the following week. Had two 69's before the bad weather day in The Open. On his day could win anything hopefully this is a going week.

Matt Kuchar 0.75EW 66/1 Victor Chandler
The 'Kuch' missed the cut in both The Open and Loch Lomond but this might not be as bad as it looks as some of these look over-golfed. Prior to that he was 5th in the St Jude - add that to his Hawaii 4th \ Honda win and 66/1 looks worth an interest. Changing venue so not as inconvenienced by a lack of course form

72-Hole Matchups:

72-Hole Matchups:

Lonard v Rose 11/10 @ Chandler 3 Units
Rose looks ripe for a let-down week. His yr has followed a strict pattern of bust then boom. Lonard has been amazingly consistent across the pond and comes back to a course where he has played well in the past.

Leaney v Westwood 9/10 @ Chandler 3 Units
Both have superb course form but while Leaney looks like regaining some current form, Westwood has once again taken 2 steps back. Gotta keep playing against Westwood till he looks like he is really back.

O'Hern v Daly 8/11 @ Chandler 3 Units
Short price but the consistent O'Hern should make the cut comfortably while the woefully out of form Daly should be going home early.

Sabbatini v Daly 4/5 @ Sportingbet 3 Units.
Rory looks like coming into some form after playing well in the Western Open and at Loch Lomond. Daly as mentioned.

adding to Lomas..
1 ew
Leaney..28/1 Stan James..hope his gear has dried out from Muirfield though...
O'Hern..50/1 Eurobet..looking for a reason why he is 25/1 with Ladbrokes..cannot really find one apart from the fact he likes links course and is a short hitter..often the best reason is no reason...

Outright plays (1.5 units):

Peter Lonard to win 20/1 e.w. @ Surrey, Victor Chandler, BetInternet and Blue Square
No great surprises here. Side-stepping Harrington and Goosen who came so close to making the play-off last week and so should find it a little more difficult to life themselves for this event. Lonard has been in terrific form on the PGA Tour this season and brought that form to Europe last week without getting too involved in the bid for the title. He will be glad the event is at the Hilversumsche course this year. He has two top-30 finishes on this course, whereas at Noordwijkse he has missed the cut on all four occasions.

Peter O'Malley to win 28/1 e.w. @ Victor Chandler
Back to his consistent self. He has had four top-20 finishes in his last six European Tour events, including 8th last week after a closing 65. His record in this event is just as dependable: top-25 in seven of eight starts. The most accurate player in the field this week, he is well-suited to this course and so long as he doesn't gain the lead too early, he could win this title.

Bernhard Langer to win 40/1 e.w. @ Paddy Power
Langer currently holds the title, though he won on the Noordwijkse course where he has an unbelievable record. In his last six starts at Noordwijk he has won the title twice and finished 2nd three times! On the Hilversumsche course, he is less impressive, but reliably consistent as ever. Showed much better form last week at Muirfield after two missed cuts and 40/1 looks a big price for a player of his ability and motivation.

Final update: 1-2; +0.00 units

Lonard 3rd
O'Malley 23rd
Langer 53rd

Break-even week with Langer not in contention throughout and O'Malley taking himself out of contention after the 3rd round. Lonard finished two shots behind wire-to-wire winner Tobias Dier, but didn't have the best of weeks on the greens.
