Backers, you talked the talk, but your sitting on you a** watching the championship!!! All i heard "it's gonna be an all big twelve matchup between KU and OLKA or Mizzu" sorry not this year!!! I know the SEC was embarassing this year in B-ball, but we didn't open our big mouths, just to have them snapped shut again by the Big Ten and ACC. Congrats to these two conferences for making it this far! I look forward to a great game tonight!!!

The Big 12 was 25% of the Sweet 16, 38% of the Elite 8 and 50% of the Final 4!

The SEC had 4 teams to the 2nd round and 0 teams in the Sweet 16.... Of course you didn't open your mouth, congratulations. Don't pat yourself too much on the back. Most people don't brag about their conference when all of their teams bow out early.

Give me a break. You act like it was a done deal sign in stone. Yes both teams lost on saturaday, but to charactorize us thinking we could be in the final as a "misconception" is pretty stupid!

I give props to Maryland and Indiana! They both deserve to be here and I look forward to the game.

by using the word "embarassing". I truly was! UK was our only hope with old piss, state, and the gators all bowing out early. You guys are right, but one would not assume that after reading some of the big 12 posts the last few weeks. Big twelve this and that...

Yeh no war from me, but your post was meant to start something. Why else post it? If you want to give props, give them, but you take away from your giving congratulations when you also decide to rag on the Big 12.

All my percentages were for was to try to explain to you that you can't take away the many successes that Big 12 teams had this year. To try and say that anything short of winning the final is a is a bad year, or not a good year is silly!

All the talk of the Big 12 was us big 12 fans having fun, finally being able to back MANY of our teams deep into the tourny! I'm not sure ehat is wrong with that:shrug:

Now that's an intelligent comment.I agree with War Eagle on some of his points.Go back a few weeks and thats all we heard BIG 12,Big 12.He's just saying for all that chest thumping,trash talking it sure got quiet in a hurry.You dont see anybody else coming in here ranting and raving about the conference they cheer for.I havent seen one ACC ,Big Ten,PacTen,or Sec person starting threads......were the best..look at us.Sometimes I feel like this is a Big12 chatroom and not a gambling forum.I really dont understand it.Cheer for your team and if your team gets beat..dont fall back and cheer for your conference.What happens when your conference gets beat?Do you cheer for a region.GO South.The South's the best!!!!Leave the cheerleading to the cheerleaders.And the SEC sucks ass......Im laughing just saying it again.Congrats to the Big 12 backers for a great season.But I just care if the team wins or covers my money is on no matter if its Boise St or Nebraska.
