While I agree with your sentiment, isn't the beauty, the power, the glory of the United States the fact that we keep on in times like this?

Sports are a part of our very fabric, and in times like this serve as a welcome diversion and escape from the horror of days like this.

I think baseball was right in postponing and would be right to do so tomorrow, but I think part of America's strength is its ability to say to these terrorists "You may have caused us deep harm, but you cannot stop us from living our lives."

I mean no disrespect to those killed, hurt, or helping the killed and wounded, but I think sports serve as an entity to bring together people, which is something we need right now.

Just my $0.02 worth.

Well the way I see it, at least for today there should be no wagers. It has to do with showing respect to our deceased brothers and sisters.

I agree with sentiments toward the thoughts exressed here. Unfortunately, the bastards that did this and their numerous supporters throughout the world, will get great comfort out of the fact that we are disrupting our daily lives. Pete Rozelle thought long and hard before going ahead with games after JFK was assasinated. Years later, he said that he regretted that more than anything else he did. It is a very tough call.

There're a few more things we can do.

One, as Freeze says, put out your flags and wave them proudly. On your car, in your yard, whatever, display them and show the terrorists what "United We Stand" really means.

Two, please, everyone, donate blood to those who need it. We already have a blood shortage long before this unbelievable tragedy.

This is not something I want to be telling my kids about when they grow up.....sigh.

God bless everyone
