Jack,

Love your list of books with the comments and you are right on the money with everyone of them that I have played with.

I would suggest you carefully consider adding one more to your list.
www.OptionSports.com

They have 5 cent side action on baseball and a good server that handles baseball action well. We'll see what happens in the NFL, but won't need them then if they can't quickly handle the traffic. They will take some pretty good size action and appear to be sqeaky clean as far as complaints on the complaint forums.

You might contact them for sponsorship of this site because the kind of players that hang out here at MJ's are their market.

For what it is worth,

David

It's nice that CRIS took over their accounts and all, but why would Jack consider a book that ran into major problems just recently? He has plenty of solid books as is, including CRIS itself.

One more to consider adding to your list. Call it a must have for middlers.

When I bet a middle using them I always bet more on the other side because over the long haul they have the strongest numbers in the world. They are rock solid financially and will take huge action. I like to bet a nickel with them and a dime on the other side. Works better than any system I have ever found.

I don't see CRIS dealing a 5 cent line.

Where did you get the info on them being financially in trouble?

I have been playing there two months and have not had any problems whatsoever and they are on the Don Best DBS2k and I guess probably on the Island Express as well. I wouldn't think Don Best would have them on his service if they were in trouble.

Don Best had Caribi and Dunes on their premium service right up until the time that each went under. In each of those cases, there were months of no-pay/slow-pay leading up to end. I don't think a book being on DB guarantees anything, although it is a *decent* guide.

That is interesting. I guess I am just too trusting, but to me this new way of doing business is such a vast improvement over the old way of dong business.

I never keep more than 5 dimes at any one place and I can live through that if I do get stiffed.

I lost about four times that much one time when a local BM called to tell me he got robbed and couldn't pay me. I had been doing some middling so that hurt like hell since I had to pay off the other side.

I love playing offshore and on the internet. Seems so much safer and secure than the way it was in the old days.
