My 1st post of the bowl season and I really like this game a lot.
I'm taking VT +7.5 to keep it real close all the way and possibly win straight up
Of techs 4 losses, only the season opener against Bama was decided by more than a touchdown. No shame in that loss as they were 21+ point dogs there.
Although beamer is only 6-7 their last 13 bowl games several of those were against major powers in big bowls, on the other hand UCLA is like 4-9 in their last 13 bowl games.
Beamer will figure a way to slow this game down and they will be bringing the pressure on Hundley all day. VT led the ACC in sacks and they will get to the QB today as well.
The clock will be running quickly when VT is pounding the ball at UCLA on the ground.
I look for at least 1 big play on defense or special teams that will be a factor in the outcome
I wouldn't be surprised to see this game go into ot
I'll take the team that can run the ball, control clock and put oressure on the QB when needed .
