Never had anyone like I said last week line them up and keep track. But every dog does have its day. And this week was a good one to use those dogs playing other members. If you would have had Cleve and N Eng still in you have two more winners. N Eng I did use. Cleve was just to hard to pull the trigger on. Good job and most important you have brought these to others attention. All those Fav only players can see from this dogs can be fun.

New England was in there actually.....

They moved out of the rankings but their win today counted....

My rankings are based on the public's perception of the team (because I am the public) and how bad I think they are.

There are basically three very good reasons to bet on these teams......
1) There is no room for net downward movement among these teams.....in the public's eye nor in their performance.
....along this line -- the spreads are both adjusted to the public's eye and the previous performance

2) Parity in the NFL has pretty much made "any given Sunday" the norm rather than the exception

3) Despite this, the public has and always will continue to bet the favorites....thus lines will always try to milk as much as they can out of them without getting burned the other way.....

I am gonna start throwing a unit on every toilet ranked team and every toilet ML and see what happens no matter how bad I think they might get beaten. So far, 3 weeks in a row it would have made me tons of cash.....

My way of betting has lost me tons of cash....

So, I am gonna do this and see if I can learn something!

Freeze,

I appreciate you doing this, but starting to play a system after it has gone 15-2-1 is a death wish. Think the doggies will have lost their value by next week.

bobby -- not necessarily.....the toilet rankings are updated every week.....remember -- there is no "net" movement but upwards......

right now, my picks are a death wish

so my picks are gonna be thrown in the trash, and I am gonna take all the "horrible" teams and bet on them....

Well Good Luck,

One bad week's not gonna keep me off of St. Louis, Indy, Oakland, Miami, Denver and Green Bay.

Statman, very interesting. I agree with them all except Seattle with Hasselback is still pretty much horrible. They are much better with Dilfer -- he gives them a chance to win. Hasselback has shown NOTHING so far, yet he's going to be back in there as the starter this week against Miami.

Dr. Freeze, love those toilet rankings but just curious.... you say toilet ranked teams were 3-0 ATS, but don't the failures to cover by Carolina, Kansas City and Tennessee -- all ranked in the toilet bowl top 10 -- count, too, as losses?? Just wondering.

whoops......clarification...Night Owl....those teams played another team WITHIN the toilet rankings...in a Toilet Bowl.....and the 15-2-1 is the record of teams playing another team outside the ratings......

freeze,

Not sure if you can find this information or not, but I was wondering what the average line was for the toilet bowl teams playing somebody outside of the list???? I assume the average is 7 or higher.

It is interesting that they are 11 and 7 straight up against teams outside of the rankings. . . however, the line tonight at 3 is probably far less than most of these toilet bowl teams received in their games correct???

that would be correct.....because these teams are usually coming off very poor performances, they have been rebounding and covered....

tonight, both teams are coming off poor performances so it seems a little more cloudy....but....i'll take the points and HFA especially in a short week....the crowd might be a huge factor because guys are gonna be a little less sharp on both teams than they would on Sunday.....

Since the books don't want to lose money on the Nfl's worst teams this system really makes a lot of sense.
The only thing that might be worth changing(if its not too much work) is that you should get some mj'er to submit their bottom 10 teams so you get a better objective view of the basement.
