these are fairly substantial favorites in tonight`s and tomorrow`s bouts....i don`t really consider it great handicapping picking a 4 or 5-1 favorite to win something....but,you do have to have fairly good sized cojones to bet them....

i`ve been looking at football for about a week....it`s that time again....and have had some other stuff i have to attend to....sorry for not answering emails....not being a sh-t...just some personal stuff going on....for that i apologize.....

check out b.l.`s thread....i think i remember seeing him post a substantial underdog or two this weekend in his thread....

i really haven`t looked super hard at these bouts....i`ll take a quick gander....but,off the top of my head,i see nothing earth shattering....if something jumps out,i`ll be back.....

Don't mean to argue but if you took Montiel
-500 last weekend you lost your ass. You have to
know when to play the heavy favorites and when
to play the dogs. It takes a sh*t load of capping
to play a -425 favorite. If I am laying even money
there isn't much worry, if I am laying 8.5 units to
make 2, you better believe I have capped the
fight thoroughly.

you know i`ve said many times i very seldom if ever lay heavy wood on a fight...it just doesn`t make sense to me....to much risk....to little reward...

betting montiel to win by k.o. at -110 is a lot different than laying 5-1......i don`t know why you said that.....

i just don`t like laying big wood....it`s to hard digging out from under if you get upset.....

not saying that`s right or wrong....that`s just me....

I wasn't saying you played Montiel -500.
I was just pointing out the fact that not every
big favorite wins, and it takes just as much
capping to lay heavy wood as it does to play
even money.

I apologize if I made it sound like you took
Montiel -500, like you said, I know you don't
play those odds.

no prob,bud

no prob,bud

what i said to yak maybe wasn`t clear enough....

not casting aspersions on anybody....no 2 guys handicap the same way....a guy on another board told me he was laying 10-1 that montiel wouldn`t get stopped....i told him i wouldn`t lay 10-1 that the sun was coming up tomorrow.....

certainly wasn`t directing my comments at you....your record speaks for itself....

Hope there are no hard feelings.

It was an e-mail that I sent you a few
dogs worth playing. Rivas held his own
against Navarro and the crowd actually
booed the decision for Navarro.

And yes I have a very small play on Tejedor
simply because he beat Mtagwa the first time
they fought, and Mt hasn't done much since.
+275 ???
