BOTAFOGO- Vasco da Gama 4-0 :yup
at Maracan?
predicting 3-1 Botafogo

BOTAFOGO +130
:bigun: winner $$$$$

from asianhandicap:

Vasco da Gama and Botafogo as well as Corinthians are holding the first three places in the Brazil Serie A after five games played. All of them have won three games and drawn two and the difference between them is accounted in the goal difference. Corinthians have goal tally of 7-2 while the two top teams are still closer to each other with goal tally 11-4 for Vasco and 11-6 for Botafogo.
Botafogo are hosting Vasco and both teams are aiming a win tonight to go clear at to the top. Botafogo have the grounds advantage but this can be offset by the excellent form of Vasco who won their last game by 4-0 on Copa Libertadores finalist Gremio.
Botafogo won their last four home games two in the Cup on Athletico Niniero and Figuerense and two in the Serie A , again on Miniero and Gremio. Although these are good performances they are not that striking as Miniero are a moderate team and Gremio travel badly and have their focus more on the Copa libertadores than any thing else.

Vasco for their part have drawn two of their last three away games of which one 4-4 draw with their tonight host Botafogo. They won the other one. Before these they lost two away games of which one by 2-0 again at Botafogo in the Carioca. In their serie A away games they met rather low opposition in the two new teams America Natal (win 1-0) and Nautico (draw 2-2).

TEAMS:

Botafogo: J?lio C?sar; Jo?lson (Renato Silva), Juninho, Alex e Luciano Almeida; Leandro Guerreiro, T?lio, L?cio Flavio e Z? Roberto; Jorge Henrique e Dod?. T?cnico Cuca.

Vasco: Silvio Luiz; Thiago Maciel, Jorge Luiz, Dudar e Guilherme; Roberto Lopes; Thiaguinho, Abedi e Renato; Andr? Dias e Rom?rio (41 years old). T?cnico: Celso Roth.

Vasco will be missing 2 key players.

P.S.: News
Romario claims 1,000th goal

Written by: AFP

RIO DE JANEIRO (AFP) - Veteran Brazilian striker Romario claimed the 1,000th goal of his career late Sunday playing for Vasco da Gama against Recife Sport in a league game.

The 41-year-old, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 1994, moved into four figures by converting a 41st minute penalty which helped his side to a 3-1 win.

According to the player's own calculations and that of Vasco da Gama, he reached the 1,000 goal mark after playing in 1,254 games that took him to PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona and Flamengo before joining Vasca da Gama. He scored 56 times for the Brazilian national side.

The goal-scoring statistics, including youth games and testimonials, however, have not been ratified by world governing body FIFA

GOOD LUCK!!!;)
