Torreros are a good, if inconsistent, team with talent. Utah is down to nine schollie players after the losss of their best player, Britton Johnses. They rebounded well from that against Pepperdine but the sed cond game after the injury is often the let down. Utah also has not been good road as a small road fave in recent years.
Utes also have a few players from the SD area nd they stayed there since Fri. instead of going back to Utah. They are on winter break so they may be sluggish and not as focused. For San Diego, though, this is a big game. Thye can make another statement and try to build their tourney resume against Utah, which starts2 freshmen.
