baby johnson: Cheers! :mj14: ("Gomer says, 'Hey'. 'Hey', to Gomer.") . . . It looked like you had a good day, too, from one of your other posts. :dizzy:
6-0! Patience is a virtue. I haven't played six NFL games in a single week all year, and am only averaging 49/12 = 4 plays per week, but I really liked this week's card, and while I definitely hesitated (after the holiday diversions contributed to two straight losing weeks in college football that scuttled a satisfactory season there), I couldn't shake the feeling I was on to a few right sides. I also liked Indianapolis(-15), San Diego(-11') and Cinci/Pitt(Ov41')
A LOT (more than tonight's play for sure), but I wasn't going to take it that far, either, and I just watched San Diego in the late game with much interest since I already needed it to stay in the hunt (I think) for the $500 second prize in the Bestline contest.
Philadelphia(+3') over Seattle (1*)
- - I suspect Holmgren will try to manage the game and has the team to do it, Reid and DC Johnson will also try to manage the game and don't have the team or the right matchup to do it . . . A crazy number to lay for a Seattle team looking to travel to the East Coast and bag eight in a row while showing signs of regressing some with their vastly improved defense . . . Not a strong play, but the backdoor should be there to the end at least.
