Does anyone know with certainty what my payout would be at Five Dimes in each of the following two hypothetical scenarios, provided I had risked $10 to win $100 on Kenny Perry finishing top 5 for the tourney?

Their rules say "dead heat'" rule applies, but I want to make sure I understand what occurs with specific examples. Thanks in advance.

Case #1 (final standings):

1. Woods
2. Cink
3. Leonard
T4. Perry
T4. Mayfair
T4. Toms
T4. Els
8. Maruyama

If I had a $10 bet on Perry to finish top 5 at +1000, what would my payout be?

Case #2 (final standings):

1. Woods
T2. Cink
T2. Leonard
T2. Perry
T2. Mayfair
T2. Toms
7. Els
8. Maruyama

If I had a $10 bet on Perry to finish top 5 at +1000, what would my payout be?

I think (although i have had a beer so the maths may not be right!):

In the first scenario, you would get paid out on 1/2 your stake as you have 4 players sharing 2 spots. $55.

In the second, you would get paid out 4/5 your stake as you have 5 players sharing 4 spots. $88.

Thanks. Can anyone else confirm this? (For some reason, 5 Dimes CS seems unable to give me a clear answer via email).

BTW, I like Pernice -101 Green and McNeill +100 Matteson for rd. 3.
