Most of this board was all over Toronto @ -3.5 when they were home vs Boston - Boston was an over .500 team red hot - and Toronto could have won had they not started slow - they did show a lot of life in the 3rd quarter and got up by 10pts - then they thought the game was over and let Boston rip 10 straight...
Here we have a sub .500 team playing well coming into Toronto - a team that just beat Indy in Indy -
NO in their last 5 games have won twice and lost 3 times - they haven't covered this small number in their losses - their wins were against Phoenix (bad team) and Atlanta in Atlanta - If Atlanta wasn't the most schizophrenic team in the NBA, I'd say that was worth something - but they are. On any given night I could assemble 5 MadJackers (over 30 and probably overweight) and beat Atlanta....
As for Toronto, they have won 3 times and lost twice in their last 5 games - the 3 wins, they have covered this number - the 2 losses? One was Miami and they were outplayed (NO isn't Miami) and the above mentioned Boston game - where they could have won and covered, except for Boston being red hot and Toronto's mental lapses....
I am betting on the team I think wins - and if they win, they cover this small number.
