Total Bases Wager - Should it have been "No Action"?

Made a Total Bases wager today (Carl Crawford v. Eric Byrnes). Took Crawford, who did not start. He pinch hit late in the game. Was initially told it would be graded "no action." Later found out wager was graded as a loss. 5Dimes says there policy is if a player pinch hits, wager has action.

Any way to find out starting line-ups to avoid this in the future? Also, one could profit off this by simply playing against a guy who sits out and comes in late to pinch hit. Happens often, especially on back-to-back/night-day games which occurred here with Crawford.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

lineups are up on mlb.com under gameday usually 30-45 minutes before gametime.
