So still, looking at stuff. Will probably post again maybe Saturday
Any way it is easy to track over/unders totals for a full game but harder to track over/under totals for 1st halfs. So for the next 3 days I am betting every game listed at 5 Dimes as an over 1st half. I will bet each game for the same amount. These will be the only bets I make so I can look at my winnings/losing each day and have a record of 1st half totals. I will post that record here each day. I think there were 31 games today--gl This will give me some more info to look at:0corn

A plan if its good or bad don't know. Figure 3 days of games will give me some good info. This yr overs in the 1st half to what I know seem to be hitting better than 1st h unders--gl

Wed---16 overs and -15 unders--just like flipping a coin for heads and tails 50/50

Today there are 53 listed I will be on them all.

I am going to try and figure out if there is a breaking point of when a line is too high to be an over or low so its has higher odds of being an over.

Hawk I don't know if this info I have helps cuz many times if you and I or 3 PP are on the same plays, I'll double or triple up, but these were some numbers I had for yesterday and I went 1-1 on my totals, other plays I had circled but did not play are in purple:

GT/N C St, opening # 142, moved to 143 1/2, my number 146 1/2, I played over, total pt 174
LC/Wich St, opening # 121 moved to 124, my number 130 1/2, I played under, total pt 134

U Mass/ST Joe opening # 155 1/2 moved to 154, my number 149, total 148
St Johnny/SH, opening #143 1/2 moved to 146, my number 141, total 139.
UNI/Brad opening #115 moved to 118 1/2, my number 130, total 118.

I hope that those numbers don't screw you up, but you can see where I come up with one basic set of totals, the other # I used is last 3 games home & away between both teams, if the line is off by 10 pts in either direction it's a big play.

GL!! Pound da man!

Good info

Yesterdays games:

I divided them into 5 point ranges

Totals in the range: (for the 1st half--1st number is overs-2nd number unders)

50-54--0-0
55-59--3-0 overs
60-64--4-2 overs
65-69--5-9 overs
70-74--2-2 overs
75-79--0-2 overs

So the 1st day tells me if the 1st half total is in the range of 55-59 & 60-64 bet the over--if it is 65-69 either no bet or bet the under. Anything above 74 pass or bet the under

Bigger card tonite so that will tell more as last nite was a smaller sample. I missed a couple in there somewhere

Sample size still very small but it's been tough for teams to stay under those low 50s. I've also seen several games go over in the Fh and still stay under for the game. The Bradley game on Weds was a perfect example of that as the first half went way over.

It's all a crap shoot.

Yea it is. Depends on the team-who they are playing etc. Many people have come up with many systems and no one has gotten rich. Its kid of funny you beat your brains out to look over stats, trends etc and can go 2-5 but you just play every game as an over 1st half and go above .500. Its called odds sand gambling.

I've noticed that there is one system featured here at MJ's that is producing crazy good results. It's called "the plays I didn't post system " Just fantastic results with that one.

To finish the 3 day experiment I played all 12 games over 1st h

If you took the 1st 2 days results and applied them to tonites games based on best % for each slot
Like 60-64 had a better % of overs 1ST half--75-79 had a better % to be and under, ETC.
1/2 hlf bets
Prin ov-72-VCU un 76-Penn ov 60'-Corn ov 64-Col ov 64-NKY un 76-Det ov 73'-WGB un 78-Man ov 73'-Can un 77-Kent ov 71 -lets track those and see what happens in those 11 bets

gl--I am tired of this shit-too much work and ready to get back to my normal (what ever the hell that is) betting-- but research is good.

Even with a small sample size, it makes sense that first half totals (and full game, too) are going to be about 50:50 over-under. Cuz, linemakers are that good. In football, the bettors' tendency to want to bet overs and avoid under might skew this a little but that doesn't seem to carry over to baskets.

Therefore . . . yes, go back to your usual handicapping. We need it. Thanks
