Contador +255 to win the Tour for 3 units ? yeah on paper Froome is the strongest and has a better team. However, Contador?s team is the best since he had Lance & Co. on Astana and history has shown that riders that have gone out too much for wins prior to the Tour, such as Froome has this year, haven?t fared well in the overall classification.

Van Garderen -140 vs. Evans Tour finish for 2 units ? should be a repeat of last year for these teammates.

Hesjedal +165 vs. Van Der Broeck Tour finish for 1 unit
Boasson Hagen -120 vs. Voigt Tour finish for 1 unit
Van Den Broeck -140 vs. Kloden Stage 1 for 1 unit
Kittel +110 vs. Greipel Stage 1 for 1 unit

Snafu - you wager anything thus far?

Yes Kick I know. Hesjedal should be pretty motivated after last year's disappointment. He also realizes as his age continues to climb, he doesn't have many more opportunities for a top showing. Van Der Broeck showed so well last year because of all the time trials, he will be hard pressed to match that this year.

2-0 for +2.1 units

Kittel wins the stage, was worried they were going to grade the wagers as pushes given they awarded everyone the same time. What a cluster this stage was.

For Stage 2:

Contador -110 vs. Rodriguez for 1 unit - these 2 will likely end up coming across in the peloton together. However, I think Contador and his team look to be at the front of the stage tomorrow. They have to be weary after a wreck potentially put him in an early hole in stage 1. That was reminiscent of the 2011 tour also where he was down early. Really think he and his team will be out to prevent any other potential pitfalls and an attack on one of the last two climbs wouldn't surprise me as he has alluded in interviews that an unconventional approach may be needed to land Yellow.

Degenkolb +275 vs. Sagan for 1 unit - Sagan looked the most beat up of the big names affected by wrecks on Stage 1. Sagan is in it for the stage wins and there are enough climbs in stage 2 that he will likely rest and try to regroup for some opportunities in a few days.

5dimes counted the Contador Stage 2 bet as a win, I must have looked at the standings wrong or missed something.

Updated Record: 3-1 for +2.1 units

Boasson Hagen +320 vs. Sagan Stage 3 for 1 unit - taking another shot against Sagan. Was surprised by he and his team's approach in today's stage, but 3 has even more inclines.

Contador -150 vs. Peraud Stage 3 for 1 unit - going to say on the Contador train, still expecting something aggressive from him and his team early this year.

Froome +120 vs. Van Der Broeck Stage 3 for 1 unit - Froome looked a little off in his one attack today, but still think he will be near the front to try to reel in any other contender's attacks.

0-fer the last time out. Record now 3-4 for -1.4 units

For Stage 6:

Field not Cavendish Wins +110 for 2 units - Cavendish has won back to back stages a few times but there will be too much competition from the likes of Greipel, Kittel and Sagan for him to take this one tomorrow.

Got the last bet as Greipel wins stage 6. Also Van Der Broeck pulls out of the race, making the Hesjedal +160 a winner.

Updated Record: 5-4 for +2.4 units

For Stage 7:

Schleck -115 vs. Gadret
Roche +170 vs. Evans

1-0 on the day. However, my three remaining overall tour wagers don't look good at the current moment.

Updated Record: 6-6 for +2.25 units

For Stage 9:

Contador -115 vs. Kreuziger for 3 units - Contador could be looking at a bigger deficit if it wasn't for his teammate Kreuziger pulling him along for the mountain climbs. Tomorrow that will show and Contador should be in a better position tomorrow as I expect Kreuziger to struggle due to the strain that was put on him today.

The Boasson Haggen wager is a loss as he pulled out.

Updated Record: 7-7 for +4.05 units

For Stage 14:

Froome +135 vs. Evans - Team Sky and Froome should be better positioned at the front to keep an eye on any potential breakaways from threats after they were caught off guard today.

1-0 today, for Stage 15:

Contador -130 vs. Mollema for 2 units, Contador's team should fair much better tomorrow in the mountain stage providing for the much better finish.

1-0 on the day as Contador bests Mollema but Froome shows it will be a cake walk the last week. Have about 6 units in losses that aren't "official" in the Contador and Van Garderen futures.

Updated Record: 9-7 for +7.35 units

Impressive.

Eh, thanks but just kind of an average grind. The swings and misses on most of my tour futures is a bit disappointing. Contador to win it all was a roll of the dice but really surprised by Tejay Van Garderen. Hopefully add a couple of units in the remaining mountain stages.
