Some interesting developments overnight, meaning Lance Armstrong and the climbers have plenty of work to do. The Russian Kivilev looms as a big danger.
However, Joseba Beloki still looks a value bet at 10-1. The 27-year-old Spaniard was third last year while riding with a sore wrist, had now switched teams to the top-notch ONCE organisation and is in great form, having won the recent Tour de Catalunia.
Kivilev was 100-1 before this morning's results; won't be now

Anders, HILLS had 125:1 on Kivilev, but they'd only let me on for 5pounds e/w...so not exactly a kingly payoff or anything...but i'll take what I can get so thanks for the tip!

At least now I have some reason to follow this little cycling race.

btw, NZTAB are now into 40's, so clearly yor $$$ are getting RESPECT

Welcome in Phoenixx
Yeah, saw the TAB had jumped last night after the wager on Kivilev; hope it's after the horse has bolted

Surprised to see how few books there are on the Tour and how long it takes to update odds. Kivilev's odds simply confirm my thoughts that the best way to make $ sports betting is in the "lesser-spotted" codes

No startling developments overnight; it's all going to start cracking tonite as they head to the hills. I still think Armstrong will be very hard to beat but we're on the riders with value to challenge.
