OK, I've been inactive from this forum for the entire season...but now's the time everyone comes out of the wood work as they say..and I do watch a lot of balll so here's my "eye-ball" picks:

1- ODU over Butler -2...I really like this pick...ODU probably has their best team ever...conference is rated real high this year and higher than Horizon leagure...Butler sentinmental favorite and good team..but not like last year...think the unkown team beats the sentimental favorite by at least 5 points or more...

2) Wofford getting points..this is a tough one...B YU can score, no doubt....but dont' play much D at all...Wofford mostly seniors will not get sucked into a 3 point duel...this one will be close I think...BYU team is solid no doubt....Wofford will give them fits..this will be a nail biter IMO


3) Over 122 Temple-PSU- Temple will try to run...PSU will try to make this half court...think Temple will dictate the pace and PSU will have to adjust...Temple should be in high 60s...PSU needs to score high 50s..think Temple will get a large enough lead to make the last 3 mintues hack time with lots of foul shots.

4) Morehead State will keep the game close against Louisville...low profile team with talent versus high profile talent that might be a bit overrated...spells,close game...how many times have we seen close games in the 1st round where favs either are upset or barely squeak by...this is one of them I think...

Small program with some very good players versus a big program with very young players..know the game is being placed in NC but that shouldn't matter here...LIU is a very athletic team and can actually match the athletes of NC...NC will not blow them out IMO...

Marquette-Team played well at season end..very simiiar team to Xaver. X-men gotted thumped by Cinn early but that game left an impression in my mind..they aren't as good as years past..whereas Marquetter is well tested in Big East...Marquetter advances, X-men do not.

Maxon over Vill....in vogue pick I know..but Maxon is a real gritty club..Vill is not...Maxon knows how to win, Vill does not..Vill poor end of season continues..

Tenn over Mich-better athletes win this one..no other reason

4-1 in tourney so farr.

Like the over in Conn/Cinn 130 1/2,....Conn is playing well at the moment...they must run to win...see lots of hacking in this one...lots of free throws.two teams that know each other well...Conn will set the pace and think both teams get into the 70s

Over Templa/SD state...Temple will try to run in this one..SD State likes the 1/2 court..temple willl run and hit 3s to overcome the 1/2 court D...think Temple gets 60+...SD will win this in a tight one...kind of like the points with Temple small...overs in both games big...Temple +6 small

Wisky and Marquette

Like Wiisky on ML -170 over KC State...Wisky has a final four type team with good big way and good guard play...KS is erratic and Wisky is not the kind of team they matchup will againsg.

Marquette is playing great at the moment..great team play...think they could upset in this one..but take the +5...

Like the Fighting Illini plus the points today...Ill has had an up and down year..barely got into the tourney..and sometimes don't show up for games...however, this is the tourney and they have to show up...think their big men will give Kansas fits...Kansas can be had I think...Ill may not be the ones but this won't be a blowout...9 1/2 points is a lot...

Washington +5...NC plays no Defense...Washington will just score, score, score...think this will come down to the buzzer
