Anyone heard of this stock before? I heard about it in a financial news the other day, and it's supposedly a sort of Wal-Mart of the central farming area of U.S. It started in the state of Texas and it's spreading quickly throughout that area and the neighboring states. But they said that more than the farmers themselves, it's regular hobbyists and gardners that frequent their stores. So right now it's around $32/sh. and they predicted it could go as high as $100/sh in five years. That's a shitload and I wanted to know if anyone has any info or heard about this stock before I put my beak in.

know nothing about this company but would compare their earnings to the overall market and to the retail sector. see how cheap the stock.

-how many stores do they plan to open in the year.
-what is the growth in sales of stores opened for at least one year.
-earnings
-revenue
-how much growth is there
- main competitors

as for 5 year target they are pure fantasy, no one knows where a company will be in 2 years never mind 5.

some large blue chip companies have been destroyed in 6 months by management blunders, or a massive change in the industry in which they are in, or sometimes both. 5 years is to far out. so is 2 years.

thanks

Tony, I live in the KC area and Tractor Supply Stores started opening up around here about 3 years ago. I have been to one a couple of times to purchase products that we use to maintain some of our constructioin equipment. (oil and grease) Maybe it is just the time that I have been there, but their never seems to be any customers in the store besides me. Never have to wait to get help or have questions answered or pay for you goods. Like I said, I have only been a couple of times, but the times that I was there, they weren't doing a real booming business. They don't have a whole lot of competition around here though, so I guess that is good thing. Hope this helps.

Tony,

You have the wrong symbol, it's TSCO, traded on the NASDAQ.

Great company, I got in in March or April, I believe. Have somewhere 85% profit. They hit there 52 week high on 10/15
, I believe. I think you you missed an opportunity as we all do with various stocks, so don't feel I'm trashing you.

I have no time to get into particulars. Busy with other things, but you probably heard about this stock because it is such an over-acheiver the last few months, relative to present market conditions.

Happy hunting, know you can do your on research with the proper symbol.
