just want the opinions of this trade as people here are impartial to the league I am in.

I am not involved in this trade....

first, the league settings

a league where you start 2 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, a TE, and a flex, D, and K

no playoffs so the best record wins it all. highest points for all season is the tie breaker.

team 1 who is 1-3 and had Freeman and Romo as his QBs (both on a bye this week) and is in danger of falling out of contention made this trade....

Ray Rice, Hakeem Nicks, Tony Romo

for

Alfred Morris, Michael Vick, Jeremy Maclin

team 2 is 3-1 and has a very strong team, including Aaron Rodgers, Percy Harvin, Darren Sproles, Rob Gronkowski

team 1 is trading AWAY Rice, Nicks, and Romo to team 2.

Rice was drafted 6th overall, Romo 15th, Vick 20th, and Alfred Morris undrafted and was signed off the waiver wire.

Rice is a star at his position, and on the ESPN can not drop list, along with Romo and Vick.

Why you would trade him for less than a star at a different position is beyond me.

Romo and Vick I'd have to say are quite even and Vick is injury prone.

Nicks is miles better than Maclin when healthy.

can I get some feedback on this trade? obviously I think it is a horrible deal and should have been veto'd

As Commish in both Petey's leagues I can honestly say that the above trade would not have gone through. I cannot in any way see how this is a fair trade that maintains the standards of fair play.
