Expectations were high for Mikel Leshoure after a breakout performance against the Titans in Week 3. That wasn't the case. Leshoure struggled to find running room against the Vikings in Week 4 and when he finally did on his longest run of the day, he fumbled. Leshoure totaled 28 rush yards on 13 carries -- 14 of which came on his best run which ended with him coughing up the ball. He was more impressive as a receiver, catching four short passes for 37 yards. Leshoure did lose some playing time late in the game -- when the Lions went into hurry-up mode he was on the sideline and Joique Bell took over. Bell wound up leading the team in receiving yards with 72 on six catches, 56 of those yards coming on the Lions' hurry-up drive.

Fantasy Analysis

The matchup was more challenging than advertised: Of Leshoure's 13 runs, nine went for fewer than 4 yards. Six went for 1 yard or fewer. Leshoure looked a little tentative and did some dancing in the backfield before trying to make his move. It's proof that he's still developing as a back and isn't ready to be a monster rusher. The Lions' use of Joique Bell late is also further proof that the team can go in a number of directions at running back throughout a game and thus the season. Leshoure and the Lions are on bye in Week 5 before playing at the Eagles in Week 6.

Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin hasn't had consecutive 100-yard games since the middle of the 2009 season. It will look to end that slump Week 5 at Kansas City after racking up 131 yards Week 4. The Chiefs have allowed just one 100-yard receiver -- Julio Jones -- this season, but are yielding 19.5 Fantasy points per week and have surrendered five touchdowns to receivers. Boldin was with Baltimore when he faced the Chiefs in the 2010 playoffs. Boldin had five catches for 64 yards and one touchdown that day.

Fantasy Analysis

Boldin was having a pretty poor game Week 4 against the Browns until the second half. That's when he became quarterback Joe Flacco's favorite target. Boldin has either been really good or really bad this season. It's been tough for Fantasy owners to trust him. He has a somewhat favorable matchup in Week 5, but Boldin is nothing more than a low-end start in deep formats.

well put, seems like when flacco goes to boldin he will throw to him in bunches, i remember they were down a game last year and flacco completed to bolding 5-6 times on final drive, didnt love boldin going into the year, but the ravens picked up their offensive pace this year, i have kevin smith and he hasnt seen the ball recently depsite playing fairly well
