Tragic start to Preakness day

Homeboykris died after winning the first race at Pimlico and a second horse broke down and had to be euthanized after another race leading up to the Preakness.

very sad. Pramedya, the second horse that perished, was owned by the same owners who owned Barbaro who had his tragic accident 10 years ago.

I've seen my share of horses break down here and never a good thing to see. Sad.
