just an fyi... this is the 3rd season of the wild card round in it's current format. so there have been 8 series the last 2 years. in 7 of the 8, the team that won game one also won game two.
the only exception was the Mets in 2022 and that game was started by a fella named jacob degrom. (fun side note, seth lugo earned the save.)
