Round 1 play (2pts):

Imano Yano to beat Jeppe Huldahl -125 @ Five Dimes
Siding with the better player in this matchup - he ranks over 100 places higher in the OWGR. Yano may not have played in a Tour event this year (though he did play in the Asian PGA Tour Q-School in January and easily won his Tour Card), but having finished 2nd in the Japan Tour Money List in 2008 and 16th last year, he is certainly one of the better players on that Tour. By contrast, Huldahl may have been a shock winner of the Wales Open last year (he missed three cuts before that event and three cuts after it), but he has largely struggled this year following major swing changes over the winter and has admitted that it was surprise that he played so well in the Avantha Masters in February. Provided Yano's game is not too rusty, he should beat his opponent many more times than not.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Derksen tb Bland +120; Garrido tb Bland -125; Webster tb Hoey +110; Dougherty tb Lowry -116; Maybin tb Bland +105; Lynn tb Finch -116; Levet tb Bjorn +120; Derksen tb Bjorn +130; Benson tb McEvoy -105; Broadhurst tb Warren -105]

Round 3 play (2pts):

Rhys Davies to beat Thomas Levet -118 @ William Hill [available generally]
Davies may have a two-shot lead to defend, but the Challenge Tour gradudate is playing the far better golf this season: he finished 6th in the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and two weeks ago he similarly led the Malaysian Open by two shots after 36 holes and on that occasion, he still held the lead after the third round. He did eventually finish 3rd, but such a good performance under pressure two weeks should be of benefit tomorrow when he is in exactly the same position again. Levet has shot the lower round over the weekend just once (and that was over two years ago), so unless Davies wilts under the pressure tomorrow, I can't see Levet being the new tournament leader any time soon.

[unofficial rd3 system plays: Lynn tb Rock -120; Garrido tb Levet -116; Fasth tb Horsey -116; Dougherty tb Levet +110; Dougherty tb Aiken +110; Gallacher tb Havret -120; Little tb Rodiles -130; Storm tb Huldahl -120]

Stanley,
Or anyone else really. Is there anywhere to go to find stats on the Euro tour during the progress of the tourney? I notice they haven't had any available the last two days.

Thanks in advance.

There have been none available for this event. They are normally available on my site and there is normally a 'Tournament Statistics' link on the europeantour.com site that gives a few cumulative, but not this week. In fact, even the scoring stats are all wrong this week because of the two courses being used

Thanks. I've been using the in-running on your site but figured i'd ask if the info was out there somewhere and I was missing it.

Round 4 play (2pts):

Peter Whiteford to beat Julien Quesne -110 @ Five Dimes
Big difference between these two and particularly at weekends. Whiteford ranks almost 100 places higher than Quesne in the 'Race to Dubai' standings, largely because he has a 6th and a 18th place finish in his six starts this year; Quesne has a best finish of 43rd. And in terms of their h2h stats, Whiteford has finished ahead of Quesne in seven of their last ten common events and in terms of 4th round scores alone, he leads his opponent 11-4. Five Dimes have the wrong player as favourite.

[unofficial rd4 system plays: Bjorn tb Bourdy +115; Oosthuizen tb Davies -130]
