Troy Aikman To the Dolphins?

Just read an article by Keith Olberman that Troy Aikman is close to signing a deal to QB for the Miami Dolphins.

Does this really better their situation or are they just adding another ring to their circus? :shrug:

Wannstedt comes out and says the Aikman rumors aren't true. So I guess the poll should be changed to:

"Do you think that Aikman will come out of retirement and play with the dolphins." Too late though.

My opinion is any team he goes to would be hurting that team. Check that- any team he goes to would not be getting enough benefit from him to make it worth the try.

Troy Aikman makes Eric Lindros look like a posterboy for the medical industry. The Fish need to come to the realization that Jay Fielder is not "the man, " but not at Aikman's mental expense. There are many ways the Fish can go; Troy is not any of them. He is doing a good job in the booth and needs to stay there.

With all the good Quarterback talent coming out of the College ranks this year, would it not be more feasable to go after some young stud QB and leave poor old tired ass Troy Aikman alone?

It may just be me but I think more than David Carr will come out this year and be ready to take on first team duties! :shrug: Get on with the program Fish and get some young talent in there to fire up this team and leave the has beens alone!
