not true......if info remains hidden, they can keep line there.....raise it to get possibly more public money on it......make false move

if they swing line huge they may get burned with big middle opp.....

Why try and read the vegas line. I would have a better chance at understanding Swaheeeeely! You have to use good information to the best of your ability. Two heavy hitters out, the bench trying to overplay and choking washington should take this game to the bank. :moon:

Of course the linesmakers know they both quit the team...they made a line, either play it or pass...too much of this 'reading into the line' stuff...

Hoops,

Does any line movement effect your decision making...What I mean is this....if public (including yourself) is absolutely all over a team and the line moves in opposite direction...does that raise a red flag to you?

BobbyIrish...bear with me on this subject

Wilson,

Not really. The only time that comes to play is if a line moves enough to a number that I think warrants a play. Say I have Team A pegged as a play if they are at +8 or higher. The line opens at +5.5..no play for me...but the line gets hit, moves to +8, then it becomes a play. But in most cases that isn't due to 'public' money. Besides that, I don't put much credence into if the public is all over a play or not, or anything of that nature, or if the line moves the opposite way of public perception.

I have to agree with Hoops in his assesment. With a little amendment on my part I watch line movement between when the books first get the lines and when they post them to the public and when a line moves allot all at once at several books!

This is not a trap play with washington. Washington has not been tremendous on the road to say the least and ore st has a decent home record. I love washington in this game not becasue osu lost some players bbut wash may be playing there best ball of the year
