I am playing what looks to be a smart money move on Wisconsin. If you go to vegasinsider.com and look at the opening line at the Stardust, you can see the movement.

This is always a risky way to handicap but there are certain things I like to see in the movement of the line.

Interesting Combato. . . my experience is that most line moves end up being the wrong side. Vegas already adjusted the line knowing that Lyde was questionable and/or out yet cappers are taking Wisky as if the line wasn't adjusted!

The hardest thing about line movement is determining what is driving the move. Obviously, one wants to play with the sharps and / or against the squares.

I like to look for certain patterns of moves. I also evaluate the game. The more obscure the game, the more comfortable I feel with it being a smart move. There are lots of other things to watch as well.

Playing line moves in college hoops will hit about 55 percent for a season. If one is a good capper, this would be a good starting point from which to make capped selections.

It's really more art than science and I certainly do not claim to be an expert. I know this is a controversial area of sports betting so I usually do not post my opinions on it because invariably someone takes offense.
