Whats up guys? I dont post on this board frequently, however i am a big fight fan and would like to share my reaction with all those interested. The Tszyu/Micthell fight was greatly anticipated. As any gambler would, i tried to find a particular angle to justify a wager. This was one of them rare fights, in which it was difficult to predict anything with absolute certainty. I did for see Tszyu would win, but that was strictly a feeling formed from watching prior fights.

The fight, while it lasted, was very entertaining. Sure, there was a large amount of clinching, throwing and wrestling but the fight remained close. In fights such as these, the magnitude alone can carry a fight. A viewer can be satisfied simply through "nervous energy" even if the fight is not of great excitement. IE DLH/Trinidad (while the fight didnt have a lot of action, i was intently watching, knowing it was close in pts).

Mitchell was defniitely in the fight, but clearly fading with the rounds. Had the fight gone longer, I think Mitchell may have been KO'd. Despite losing, i dont think Mitchell lost any ground in the 140 class.

The fight ended with Mitchell on the stool. Unfortuantely, for the fan and Tszyu, the Judah/Kostya fight seems to be by default more then anything else. Kostya is not "launced" into that fight, being this win was unconclusive. It was upsetting to watch Mitchell claim to have wanted to go on, when clearly he didnt. Sharmba is now in a very good position, he will likely get a payday against the winner of May 19, in support of public push.

May 19??? Judah has the speed to out box Tszyu for 12 rds. However, his HUGE ego and own boredom will force him to sit and trade with Kostya. Judah was been floored by lesser men, i predict Kostya byKO. ANYONE HAVE A MONEY LINE ON FIGHT? ANY IDEA WHAT IT WILL BE?

Anton - Welcome aboard. Good to have another boxing voice on board, and it looks like ya know yer stuff. I look forward to exchanging viewpoints with you and that other boxing dude........errr Fletcher. Just kiddin' Fletch.

A couple post-fight observations on the Tszyu/Mitchell fight: I had a very small play on the Over in this fight, basically just for sh!ts and giggles. As I stated in my write-up, I didn't think there was any solid value in taking either fighter. Even though the fight was stopped, I still feel the Over was the right side, as I don't think either fighter was in danger of getting KO'd. Unfortunately, what I had hoped to gain from this fight never materialized. I still do not have an accurate gauge on Tszyu. He is as much an enigma to me now than before the fight. Not trying to take anything away from him, he's a solid fighter. But a great one? Not sure yet. Hopefully, we will find out if and when he faces Judah. I share your sentiments exactly. I would love to see Judah get his ass whooped, as he is an arrogant, egocentrical, jerk (to put it bluntly). However, despite my feelings towards him personally, I feel he is a hell of a fighter. But, since I'm not completely sold on Tszyu one way or another, this fight will be just as big a question mark as the Mitchell fight, although in THIS matchup, somebody is going down. No way it goes the distance.

No doubt, Tszyu is definitely a mystery. It is not often that a fighter can get by on power alone, but Kostya seems to do that. His defense is very peculiar, as he moves his torso, but rarely moves his legs. I think his best attribute, other the power, is his straight punches. He rarely ever throws wide hooks, which is rare for a big KO puncher. Straight punches are also a good form of a defensive-offense.
