Season to Date: 15-11 +6.7 units
Yesterday 1-0 + 2 units

Dallas/ Rangers OVER 5 +110 1 unit. Dallas averaging just under 4 their last 4 games, the Rangers right around 3. Granted, Dallas had a 7 goal outburst in that span, but they are still getting the puck in goal. Rangers seem to have found their stride a little winning 4 of the last 6 and seem to be back on track after the woeful start. 6 of the last 7 times these teams have met its gone over. Both teams are playing their third in 4 which is the only thing that bothers me that they might sleepwalk through this game, but I'll take my chances getting plus money with the over.

Edmonton Oilers MONEYLINE (-110) 2 units. Okay, someone explain this game to me. Both teams have had 2 days rest coming into this one. Montreal has only won once in their last 5 games, BUT so has Edmonton. They too have only won once in their last 5. Edmonton has a losing record for the season where montreal is hovering at .500. Montreal is playing at home. Edmonton has had a little success lately against them, but they split the meetings last year. Edmonton has NOT covered yet on the road last year. YET, the oddsmakers open edmonton as the 1/2 point favorite in this contest. Something smells ROTTEN. As expected, people are betting Montreal up as its moved up a dime since opening. When something stinks, I'm trained to go the other way. Everything points to at least montreal being opened up as the .5 favorite, so I'll take my chances and go with the edmonton moneyline.

Detroit Red Wings MONEYLINE +100 3 units(max play). Gonna sink or swim my day with this game. I'm taking a stand on this one. I don't care that its detroits 3rd in 4 and back to back games. I don't care that Calgary has had 2 days to rest for this one. I also don't care that detroit has 1 point in its last 5 games or that Calgary has won 2 of the last 4 games they've played. Detroit is the better team PERIOD. This team is made up of veterans and they all know that losing streaks are part of any season. This team won't hang its head and give up. Win or lose, I know they will give their best effort tonight. It might not be enough, but I think they will prevail. Going against a lot of stats which angle that calgary should win this game, but sometimes when the gut says go with a team I do, and I see detroit albeit probably tired taking out a lot of aggression on Calgary tonight.

Good Luck to All
