---cubs hot vs L and are suddenly smoking, including doing in a rather hot Livan; chc OPS only .736 past week (excluding Monday, no doubt (es(low)pn)()) but Nats a pitiful .603 and seem to be playing with less passion than Robbie the Robot; Lannan's been much better since recall but not sold, here...Z's been decent but wild since reinsertion, my one concern as ump Tschida doesn't have the biggest zone in the world...shouldn't matter
---Dickey is hot--and great at Citi--but fish have hit him in 2 this season and Josh appears to have something left as the season hits final quarter; marlins recent .722 still tops Mets .662; under sounds promising but 6.5 sounds repulsive
---Lilly's been stellar in 4 with lad while the other ex-Jay, Bush, has never impressed me...he was quite good in his last @Stl but this followed a horrible stretch...he had some blister prob on his throwing hand after the Card game (too much folding?:shrug: ) but likely not a factor; Lilly's been good vs Brew especially in 2 meetings this season, both at Miller; Brew off a solid .815 past week while lad only .666 but--hey--that number works for me...runs 5 per vs 3.5 per not irreversible and lad still owns better pen

---Pavano raunchy lately and sucked majorly in his only 2 at Rang.BP, both '09, but he's rebounded all season from his rough starts...think he'll be better, here (think=hope); Lewis has been solid but getting crappy support from the sticks; ump Wolf some help and so is the wind blowing in from left at 14mph; Tex--winning again--is still only .691 past week (3.5 per) while twinkies were .762 scoring 4 per (both, again, likely missing Mon results)
