First pick of 06/07:

Marist -6

Marist looked bad in their opening game loss at Ohio University, losing 83-66 by shooting only 21% in the 1H and getting outrebounded for the game by 44-26.

So how they can they be favored by six on the road?

Because they're going to beat Delaware by double digits.

I think Marist under-estimated a good Mid-America conference team and came out a little soft after reading all of their press clippings that have them as a ranked mid-major.

I think Coach Brady will have them better prepared this time out against a poor Delaware team that has a new coach, a new big man and is playing without their last years leading scorer who is suspended for the first two games.

Look for a fast start from Marist: last year they were 16-4 in their last 20 when they led at the half.

good luck.

Marist 34-30 at the half.

Marist turnovers keeping Delaware in the game (13-5); god knows its not Delaware's shooting (0-10 from behind the arc).

Marist shooting close to 60% from the field; if they can stop the TO's they can run away with this game.
