Updated MJ record: Straight plays 6-4 (up .7 gaming units) 2 team parleys 0-1

Tough loss on the yanks over 10.5 yesterday. Oh well, back at it today. God do I love baseball season.

Early games:

Boston -180.
(Boston home opener)

I know, heavy juice. But consider the fact that Seattle hasn't played in a week and the last game they did play they lost 9-0. Also, today will be Jeff Weaver 's fourth attempt at a debut with the Mariners after his expected starts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday were all canceled due to the weather. Thats got to mess witha guy's head.

Weaver is 3-4 with a 6.07 ERA in 13 appearances - including 11 starts - against the Red Sox .

Boston will counter with Josh Beckett (1-0, 1.80 ERA), who also pitched last season's home opener.

Adding Yanks -137

Adding Yanks -137

When I keep seeing these kind of values on the yankees I will continue to take them. Not to take anything against Minnesota but as I stated yesterday, the yankees offense is so explosive they can score double digits any night. Usually they are around a 2-1 favorite. Hopefully Petite bounces back from a shaky 1st start.

Adding Detroit -130, double play

Adding Detroit -130, double play

Really, really like detroit here. Robertson vs Jaret Wright...I'll take that. Wright has shown me nothing in years. I'm hitting this one hard.:bigun: :box2: :box2:

The Tigers will hand the ball to Nate Robertson (1-0, 3.18), who allowed two runs and seven hits in 5 2-3 innings in a 10-9 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Robertson is 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA in five starts against the Orioles.

After Wright's miserable road debut, the Orioles hope he can bounce back at home as Baltimore (3-4) and the Detroit Tigers continue a three-game series on Tuesday.

Wright (0-1, 15.43 ERA), who struggled with shoulder problems in 2005 with the Yankees, went 11-7 with a 4.49 ERA last season before New York traded him for relief pitcher Chris Britton and $4 million.

Wright is 3-0 with a 4.11 ERA in five lifetime starts at Camden Yards, including 2-0 with a 2.95 ERA last season.

Wright lasted just 2 1-3 innings in his debut with the Orioles on Wednesday, allowing six runs and four hits in a 7-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins. He walked five, including three in the third, and gave up back-to-back singles before he was pulled
