Updated 2007 MJ record (total all plays): 26-13 (+14.03 gaming units)

regular plays: 21-10 (8.33 gaming units)

double plays: 5-1 (+7.70 gaming units)

2 team parleys: 0-2 (-2.0 gaming units)
-----------------------------------------

Been hitting em pretty well in the last few days:

Fri: 3-0
Sat: 5-1
Sun: 3-2
Mon:2-0

I want to point out I made a mistake when I posted my record Sunday. Units won was correct and total record, but when I broke down my record I had an incorrect W/L with regular plays (although units won was correct).

What can I say:teknology

Be back later with some plays.

Whats not to like?

Maddux, 11-3 with a 2.38 lifetime ERA against the Cubs.

Right-hander Wade Miller (0-1, 13.50) looks to improve on a horrendous season debut for the Cubs. Facing Milwaukee on April 8, Miller lasted just four innings and was reached for six runs and nine hits in a 9-4 loss.

Miller averaged 15 wins a season with Houston from 2001-03, but missed almost all of last year recovering from shoulder surgery. He made five starts in September and October, going 0-2 with a 4.57 ERA, but hasn't won since beating Kansas City on Aug. 3, 2005 while with Boston.

Miller is making his fifth career start against the Padres and first since September 2003. He's 1-2 with a 5.79 ERA against them and has given up six homers in 23 1-3 innings.

Adding Angels -108

Adding Angels -108

Weaver makes his 1st start of the year for the angels who have dropped 4 straight and six of last seven. (He started year on DL w/ tendinitis in right bicep)

Another gut feeling, not a whole lot of stats to back up this pick other than the fact that Weaver was solid last year and the Angels really need a win. I like them to get it in this spot.

Faces off against Chad Gaudin (0-0, 2.53 ERA), who has worked his way into the rotation in place of the injured Esteban Loaiza and has pitched fairly well.

Gaudin allowed one run and three hits in 5 2-3 innings in a 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox last Tuesday.

The 24-year-old right-hander's other appearance this season came against the Angels on April 5, which is also his only career start against them. He allowed two runs and five hits, including two homers, in five innings and Oakland went on to win 4-3.

Adding Atlanta -1.5 (-135)

Adding Atlanta -1.5 (-135)

One of, if not the worst team in baseball has just won 2 in a row. Now that team is facing Atlanta and John Smoltz coming off a loss. Enough said.

adding Boston -152

adding Boston -152

Dice K has pitched well every time out. Boston avg 7.8 runs in last 5 games. Chacin 5-0 career vs Boston, but with 4.29 ERA, opp avg .292. He has recieved an average of 9.59 runs/game in that stretch. Don't think thats going to happen tonight.

adding Cincy -127

adding Cincy -127

Dave Bush (1-1, 5.25 ERA) will look to continue that trend for the Brewers. The right-hander allowed one run and eight hits with five strikeouts through six innings of a 5-2 over Florida on Wednesday.

Bush is 1-1 with a 6.55 ERA in four career starts versus the Reds, but 0-1 with a 16.71 ERA in Cincinnati.

He will be opposed by Matt Belisle (2-0, 1.50), who is trying to win his third straight start.

Dbacks?

Dbacks?

Any thoughts on the ARI/LOS game...

Owings, who threw five shutout innings and allowed just one hit in a win over Washington in his major league debut on April 6, went 6-2 with Double-A Tennessee and 10-0 for Triple-A Tuscon last season.

Can this young arm get it done tonight?

Tough Day

Tough Day

That was my first losing day in a while, maybe all year (too lazy to look it up).

Actually needed some luck to cover that Atlanta runline too (braves scored 1 in top of 9th).

Boston refuses to score for Dice K, and the Angels refuse to win. Actually watched 1 pitch if the angels game and it a 3 run homer for the A's. I know, excuses, excusues.:jerkit:

All in all I lost 1.16 units, and I plan on getting it back and then some today. Like the card a lot today.
